This is a piece I made for an exhibit around the theme of the fables of Jean de La Fontaine. and it's inspired by the Fable of The Hen with the Golden Eggs. Some of the eggshells are gilded with gold leaf, adding an ephemeral glow to the composition. A stream of golden fragments flowing downward suggests the inevitable fall of the source of wealth, echoing the narrative of La Fontaine's famous fable. 70 X 55 X 5Product specifications
