Ana Montoya’s work focuses on transforming natural materials — eggshells, acorn cups, samaras, silk cocoons, sea urchin skeletons, or bark — into textured compositions. These elements, often considered waste, are reorganized into structured pieces that emphasize their visual and material qualities. Each artwork is created from a single type of material, allowing its shapes, colors, and natural variations to define the composition.
