MATERIA PRIMA IV is a textile wall sculpture entirely handmade in France. This work explores matter in its freest dimension, where fibers seem to stretch, gather and unfold under the effect of continuous movement. The sculpted volumes dialogue with the knotted crochet elements that naturally extend the composition and reinforce its vertical expression. Made of wool from Portugal and New Zealand, it combines different fiber heights, textures and techniques to create a sculptural presence that evolves with the rhythm of light. Between tension and balance, the material reveals all its tactile richness and transforms the wall into a real living work. Entirely handmade using a process combining manual tufting, knotted crochet and fiber carving, this creation testifies to artistic craftsmanship at the service of contemporary creation.
