Fresh green striped pillowcase Complete your bedding with this Aegean-style striped pillowcase. The pillowcase is made of fine off-white cotton from Turkey. The design features wide fresh green stripes and narrow, reddish-brown and lime-yellow stripes, and matches the corresponding duvet cover perfectly. This type of traditional striped fabric was originally used for bedsheets in Turkey and Greece. We designed this stripe pattern ourselves at Ottomania, inspired by this tradition. Because the cotton fabric feels wonderfully light and soft, it is ideal for a comfortable night's sleep. The fabrics for our pillowcases are woven on authentic, traditional looms. This artisanal process gives each individual pillowcase a unique character. Washing instructions and shrinkage Good to know: the pillowcase is slightly oversized at first. We designed it this way because the cotton shrinks during the first wash. After washing, the pillowcase will be the exact right size. Additionally, washing makes the fabric less sheer and extra soft.
