Vintage wall shelf in brown stained wood, probably from the first half of the 20th century. Structure with three levels of elongated shape, with tablets with curved contours and pillars turned into a succession of spherical and tapered volumes. Lightweight construction and lathe work are part of the tradition of small domestic furniture intended to display knick-knacks, collectibles or small decorative pieces. This type of wall shelf was widely used in European interiors between the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, with numerous variants of shapes and woods. The curved shelves and turned pillars give it a graphic design that now functions as a display for small ceramics, glasses, books or a collection of objects.
