The Fuchsia Halo Disc is a round pendant in which ancient bog oak meets transparent fuchsia jewellery resin and natural Baltic amber. The black of the wood comes from no dye — the oak took it on over centuries spent in water, earth and minerals. The amber is fossilised resin from ancient forests, around 40 million years old. In bright light the resin opens up and reveals the amber within; in half-shadow the fuchsia deepens towards the black of the oak. A high-gloss polish sharpens that contrast. The placement of the amber and the grain of the wood differ in every piece — this pendant has no twin.
