When expanding the float collection, Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen were researching standard sizes of borosilicate glass tubes, which inspired many of the sizes in the original collection. This inspiration is preserved in the large glass vase, wonderfully expanded into a vessel suitable for fresh cut flowers or impressive floral arrangements. float large deep bowl comfortably serve as fruit or snack bowls, or as sculptural planters that hold their contents in delicate suspension. The large deep bowl has generous proportions, providing a comfortable home for small houseplants and living flowers. Deceptively light for its size, the large shallow bowl is especially well-suited to succulent gardens, or a carefully trimmed bonsai tree. Each piece of float glassware is handcrafted by master glassblowers in the Czech Republic from the finest German borosilicate glass. Designed by Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen.
