Product description
Century eggs or 1000 year eggs are a peculiar Chinese delicacy. They used to be pickled in brine or tea and packed with coals, chalk, ash and rice chaff into storage pots for many months until transformed into black-looking eggs with a green yolk. These olive green pots were the original storage container for these eggs. They have a high, wide belly with a small base and a small opening. All pots can be made into a lamp on request (+€45).
