Gloss is one of the original designs created by the Milanese designers SoFarSoNear for our Designer Isfahan Collection. Taking inspiration from the classical 'medallions' found in antique Isfahan carpets and Persian architecture (in particular the inner domes of mosques and palaces), this design has a thoroughly contemporary feel due to the two-tone 'abrashed' colour palette, the combination of a wool ground with silk highlights and in the way the medallion breaks into the traditional borders.
