People of Africa express themselves through adornment of the body. My African and Turkish heritage inspired these prayer bead sculptures for the home. The glass beads are from the Krobo tribe of Ghana, the bronze is from the Hausa tribe of Nigeria. The cord is silk and the tassel merino wool, hand dyed in Cape Town.
