Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is regarded as one of the pioneers of modernist architecture. Porus Studio has used the Kluczynski skyscraper, located in the downtown Chicago Loop, as inspiration for this contemporary piece and has decided to honour Mies with our modern lighting piece by naming it Luděk. The modern Luděk table lamp is put together with the Nero Marquina marble as body, a polished silver base and a shade made of black natural silk that is held by a slick polished silver frame.
