People of Africa express themselves through adornment of the body. My African and Turkish heritage inspired these prayer bead sculptures for the home. The large ceramic spindle end beads are from the Tive tribe of Nigeria, circa 1900's. They are the rosary, the mala, the tesbih and komboloi ‘worry bead’, our common talisman. More Ceramic
