Cryptogram fuses two common patterns in Persian Gabbehs: rhombus medallions (triangles symbolising women) and linear borders wedged within two layers of horizontal stripes (rectangles symbolising men) of bold colours.Metropolis: Landscapes in Gabbehs are often naïf and stylised.
