A collection of prayer bead sculptures, jewelry for the home inspired by my Turkish & African roots. Making a piece is a prayer delivered through each bead from the tip of Africa to the globe. People of Africa inspire with their personal expression of adornment. Each piece follows ancient principles in their method of binding in combination with a devotion to symbolism & the language of numbers. They are the rosary, the mala, the tesbih & komboloi ‘worry bead’, our common talisman.
