Product description
Manufactured in 1861 by the Desfossé Factory, the scenic wallpaper L'Eden is a concentrate of technical prowess: the original model is composed of 1099 colors and required the use of 3642 engraved wooden planks (curently wallpapers does not exceed 8 colors!). Symbol of the taste of the time for exoticism and distant lands, it would have been presented at the Universal Exhibition in London in 1862. Monochrome version created by Le Grand Siècle.
