Description

Marbled Provence Pottery: These ceramics with a surface of multi-colored clays were produced in the 17th century in the valley of Huveaune: Aubagne, Auriol, Saint Zacharie. The marbled decoration first appeared in eastern Mediterranean from the 15th century. The know-how of marbling in Provence: Marbled handmade plates, bowls, & pitchers enhance the beauty of your meals. Barbotine brings marbling to the present day with an ancestral know-how.
