Product description
The Coral Light’s skin refers to coral reefs we find in our seas and oceans. A new and precise 3D printing technique is used to create the lamp’s shade, consisting of waste stone powders, like granite and marble. Waste powders from the stone industry are used to 3D print these unique objects. In order to load the self-made inkjet 3D printer, the powders are mixed to ink. The printer deposits thin layers of powder and ink, building the structures from the bottom up. No glue, resin or plastic is used and zero waste is produced.
