Product description
The “Alma” rug made of merino wool felt, entirely handmade.
Alma means an apple in Kyrgyz language. The native land of the so-called domestic apple tree is spread over the territory of present-day Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan where one still finds a wild species of Siverstris. It was at the time of Alexander the Great that the apple would have arrived in Europe.
