“While observing Piero Manzoni’s Monochrome paintings I have always been fascinated by how the artist was able to wrinkle the canvas with color. I tried to recreate the same effect with glass”. Giberto’s insatiable curiosity led to the creation of the limited edition of 15 Homage to Manzoni vases, hand blown in thick Murano glass and wrapped by thin threads that are heat applied to the central area of the piece. The result is of extraordinary elegance, with an evident reference to the Achrome, created in collaboration with Gianni Seguso, well known glass master with decades of experience.Product specifications
