Product description
The undulating hills at the base of the Zagros mountains are the landscapes that instruct the design of this kelim. It succeeds in being realistic and abstract at the same time. The special light of the region is captured with the ‘abrash’ and the use of ‘lazy lines’. This creation was first produced as a Gabbeh (pile carpet) in 2017 and entered for the Carpet Design Awards. We have updated and refreshed it for 2021 and have produced as a flatwoven floorcovering for contemporary interiors.
