Ikat weaving is a meticulous technique that creates patterns on textiles and has variations all over Asia. We've translated this technique through Double-ikat hanging lamp, a pattern-on-pattern execution that required patience, skills, and experience, using over 2,000 bamboo beads, hand-strung through buri (palm) midribs.
