The vanities
This product is not available on MOM anymore.
Product description
The cabinets of curiosities in the 17th century, designate places in which scholars collect a multitude of rare or strange objects.
Vanity suggests that earthly existence is empty, vain, human life precarious and of little importance. The writers illustrated the “Memento mori”, remember that you will die.
Michel Audiard's Vanities take up this theme, with busts moulded according to the ancient Greek bust, painted by Catherine Barthélémy according to the works of contemporary artists and enhanced by reinvented animal skulls or a head gilded with gold leaf.
