Product description
Handmade teapot made by Hirotaka Umehara, who is a traditional craftsman of the second generation Gyokou in Tokoname. It is finished in a unique matte black by carbonization without glaze. Due to the rubbing technique, the main body and lid are tightly adhered, so the tea leaves can be steamed firmly. The spout is sharp and you can enjoy the original taste of tea with a delicate ceramic tea strainer. It is also recommended for people who are not good at metal tea strainers.
