Product description
The Mazandaran kilims are woven with natural dyes, in the most remote mountainous regions of Iran. These kilims are woven on a narrow loom first, then two or more pieces are stitched together by hand to create a bigger piece. Although the process of producing these modern looking kilim is quite time consuming, the stunning result is well worth the labour. Mazandaran kilims' sophisticated and moderate approach to design, often appears noticeably modern, in its visual simplicity.
