Thyssen-Bornemisza paintings Magnets
Unique magnet customization
Working together with the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid, we have developed a creative and unique set of magnets with imagery taken from their artistic collection. A total two models were developed for the Museo Nacional Thyssen Bornemisza on the occasion of Victor Vasarely's "The birth of Op Art" temporary exhibition there. The magnets certainly reproduce the paintings "Study on Cardboard 3-2. Birth of the Plastic Unit", and “Figurative-Abstract Transmutation” (Vasarely, 1975). Also, parts from Paul Gaugin's "Mata Mua" and "El Sueño" have also been created, to the delight of the painter's admirers. We chose mostly human figures for the magnets, in compositions that could be divided to make puzzles. The creative process was thought and developed by both parts working together, and gave a great outcome - Museums love to offer magnets, and specially this kind of them: they are interactive, playable, and fun. *These products are sold exclusively on Thyssen-Bornemisza's Shop and E-shop
