With this project we introduce the first author collaboration made by Yukiko Kitahara with another brand, Odette collection. This is a co-branding capsule collection made with the historical Spanish company La Cartuja de Sevilla. Odette, which takes its name from the queen of the swans, conveys the spirit of the artist in a perfect union with the historic Spanish firm. This collection is for tea, an essencial Asian and European ceremony, so this design is produced with the most special and modern pattern created in 1841, Ochavada. The delicacy of the swan and the richess of the gold also transport us to another universe. The oniric world that Yukiko and Cartuja share, an universe full of exotic animals and landscapes. La Cartuja de Sevilla La Cartuja de Sevilla was born in 1841, as a result of the entreprenurial spirit of an English family that had fallen in love with Andalusia. For over 179 years, this brand has created beautiful tableware and decorative ceramic pieces. Following the same innovative spirit of his founder, Charles Pickman, the iconic brand proposes an adaptation of its tableware and decorative objects to new lifestyles, appealing to new forms of exoticism and an "everyday extraordinaire" making use of the distinction of its classic ranges and its designs that emerge from author collaborations such as Yukiko Kitahara.
