Custom openwork tableware
How we created a set of custom tableware for a private client
We were asked to create a bespoke set of plates and bowls for a private client who had seen our Louis Philippe openwork basket and liked the pattern. Looking at the shapes and feel of this piece, we took inspiration to create a dinner plate with extensive openwork, a salad plate with a simpler openwork pattern, a soup bowl and a dessert bowl to complete the set. Finally the client asked us to decorate with a hand painted filet of colour to match her existing table linens.
