SUPERDESIGN SHOW SEPTEMBER SPECIAL EDITION REVOLUTION SEPTEMBER 4-10, 2021 Superdesign Show 2021 is a new format dedicated to contemporary design. For Milan Design Week 2021, Superdesign Show presents r / evolution: a special edition to mark rebirth, physically and digitally. Change, Made in Italy, women's creativity, human technology will be the main themes of a program made up of a series of exhibitions curated to host different expressions of design in an organized tour. The need for concreteness, innovation, lightness, sustainability, inclusiveness, interconnectedness that emerged in the year after the pandemic will transform the iconic spaces of Superstudio thanks to the work of exhibitors and the interest of visitors. A project by Gisella Borioli with the art direction of Giulio Cappellini and the contribution of numerous curators. As part of the SuperDesign Show, the 2021 edition of "1000 VASES" will take place during the Salone del Mobile, from September 4 to 10, at Superstudio Più in a section curated by Giulio Cappellini. A thousand international designers were asked to create a self-describing vase for the first exhibition in Paris. A success that convinced the curator to repeat the event a year later and again the following year, and it will be repeated next September. Whether with a vase or a series of the same type, new talents are expected from all over the world. The selection is still going on. Will there be a thousand?
