Lagardère Paris Racing

MAISON SARAH LAVOINE

The Architecture Studio was asked to modernize the Lagardère Paris Racing, a famous Parisian sports club.

The objective was to rework the codes of the English bar, all in a club spirit. The tartan pattern of the carpet is found in a more contemporary version. Some references to tennis remain: the white passpoil on the leather benches and the lines on the floor. The walls are adorned with a soft and soothing hue enhanced by more distinctive elements such as stained oak, carpeting or the green marble of the bar. This paint makes this space a very warm place where you feel good. No detail was left to chance: from the designed ceilings to the Baswa box interiors to treat the acoustics, from the smooth velvet panels to the back bar and the backlit bookcases. This project is accompanied by the creation of a new space: the passageway allowing customers to eat inside facing the garden and the pool. The stained oak used on the walls of the TV lounge gives this room character and contrasts with the blue velvet cocoon chairs. All in all, a very cozy and more secluded space to gather in front of a tennis match. Project date: July 2021
