The COKI brand was established in 2017 to offer products made from natural raw materials. Our approach minimizes the consumption of valuable resources both during production and throughout the product's life cycle, while ensuring that our items are free from toxic substances. Achieving this requires extensive research and longer design processes. OUR HANDCRAFTED STONE Our unique stone, developed after years of research and testing, incorporates the finest natural raw materials. We process it without emitting CO2, relying instead on physical methods and the sun's natural heat. Though this requires artisanal production rather than industrial-scale manufacturing, we believe it's a worthwhile wait. OUR PACKAGING Our packaging is produced just a few kilometers from our headquarters, using recycled and recyclable paper. It is 90% handmade and features a minimalist design. We recognize that 97% of packaging is discarded or set aside, so embellishing it would only increase costs without enhancing the product's quality. CERTIFICATIONS In 2020, Coki Barbieri created Italy's first high-performance salt lamp, named Rocklumina. This lamp offers a compelling alternative to standard salt lamps, boasting excellent design and functionality. It is currently exhibited at the Museo del Design Permanente at the Salone Satellite-Salone del Mobile in Milan. Additionally, COKI won the Green Product Award for Rocklumina, with the jury stating, “Rocklumina improves an existing object that does not have sustainability criteria.”
