For the new office of Spuiterij en Straalbedrijf Gouweleeuw BV in Emmeloord, there was one clear request: a table that truly reflects the company. Micha Gouweleeuw, director of the company specializing in spraying large equipment like cranes, excavators, and trucks, explains: “We work with heavy machinery every day, so we wanted a table that conveys the same sense of strength and durability.” The team at Sturdy-Legs embraced the challenge. Together, they decided to use a crane component as the table’s base. The piece was carefully adapted into a functional and unique frame, which the company then painted themselves. The tabletop, crafted from American walnut, features a glass insert in the center, showcasing the robust undercarriage wheel and all. The result is a table that is not only practical but also a statement piece: sturdy material for an environment full of heavy equipment. Micha Gouweleeuw adds: “We are extremely happy with the final result.
