KAMARBANDH
Rock Crystal .Tourmaline. Freshwater Pearls.
Kamarbandh is a limited-edition collectible design object that brings together sculpture, jewellery and exceptional craftsmanship. Carved entirely by hand in Jaipur from natural Indian rock crystal, the piece is shaped according to the stone’s natural fractures, inclusions and hidden structure. Every petal is individually hand-carved, inspired by the language of Indian temple carving. Around the crystal sits a removable jewellery band featuring approximately 80–115 carats of tourmaline, set in rhodium-polished silver, freshwater pearls and a traditionally hand-braided sharafa cord. The band can be removed from the sculpture and worn as jewellery. Kamarbandh is created in three sizes, with four pieces of each size — twelve pieces in total. Only twelve will ever exist, and this design will never be reproduced.
