Neither 2- nor 3-ply.Woven layers designed for comfort.We took the middle layer of the traditional 20-count 3-ply gauze and replaced it with a 1/2-weight weave. We also utilize an irregular weave to produce a unique, exquisitely soft texture. Lighter, softer and quick to dry, and still highly absorbent, the 2.5-PLY GAUZE TOWEL comes in slightly larger Medium and Large sizes, plus a longer scarf type and washcloth. We created a natural depth in color by slightly varying the dye for the warp and weft.Material : 100% Organic cotton
