Loops Fruit Stand
Designed by Brunno Jahara, the Loops Fruit Stand proposes an iconic design to a simple object. This collection uses “loop” handles made of silver-plated brass, that play with the idea of connection and structure. The use of precious metals brings quality and tradition to new and authentic pieces. The simple, pure and clean lines of the objects work to enhance the basic geometric forms such as the circle, making it appear in handles to use for several functions; a bowl, a tray, a lamp, a candle holder, an ice bucket that doubles as a vase, a water jug and of course, an iconic fruit stand.
Vazada Hammock
Originally designed objects made 100% by hand with the sophistication that only artisanal production can offer. The Artiz is an initiative with the purpose of presenting Brazilian artisan talent and creativity to the world. The objects are made using fair trade practices. The techniques are passed from generation to generation conserving the communities’s heritage across the country. The products carry a cultural history, ethically with different patterns and color combinations.
FISSURA TABLE LAMP
The Fissura lamp is inspired by a play of presence and absence of light. A line, both narrow and shallow, tears the elliptical volume that divides. Two ellipses contrast in light and shadow, translucent and opaque, in a linear motion of antithesis and synthesis. Shadow is represented by wood as an element of darkness, stillness, which reveals light as opposed to darkness; Light, on the other hand, seems to transgress the dimensions of a traditional lampshade.
