The inspiration came from the desire to add colors as protagonists that could imprint emotions and personality to objects and thus directly influence the mood of the décor. The combination of colored resin with noble metals such as silver and 24k gold brings to the pieces the weight and essence of St. James in a subtle but striking way.
"LIGNA" TABLE LAMP
The design of the LIGNUM collection, to which the Ligna Lampshade belongs, emerged from Alessandra Delgado's concern to make sustainable use of wood waste from Cinnamomum reforestation, which results from the manufacture of furniture. The Lys lamp, like all the pieces in the collection, boasts a remarkably natural-looking finish, thanks to the completely matt varnish, which brings out the true essence of the wood, highlighting the delicacy of its design and natural veins.
MINIMALIST CHAIR “JULIA”
When she created Julia Chair, Alessandra Delgado wanted a piece with delicate features, exploring the curves of the wood with a design inspired by the master designer Joaquim Tenreiro's work. Thaìs Lauton is journalist and has been writing about decoration, architecture, design and landscaping for 20 years. In Casa e Jardim since 2004, she was responsible for giving relevance to the landscaping editor. In 2016, she took over the editorial direction of the brand, which has been leading the print and digital market since August 2017. She has developed projects such as the Casa e Jardim Award, which is currently in its fourth edition. In 2019, 2020 and 2021, she was recognized as a highlight of the Prêmio Especialistas in the Decoration category.
