Today, Emmanuel Foyatier, the fifth generation, has taken over both the management and artistic direction of Maison Morel—an iconic fabric and wallpaper publisher founded in the 19th century near Lyon. With access to an impressive archive of several hundred patterns dating from the 1800s to the 1980s, this entrepreneur in his thirties has, since 2013, breathed new life into the brand by bringing this rich heritage back to the forefront through wallpapers, panoramic murals, and textiles.
