Else Vases
Else Vases projects represent a new approach towards surfaces and shapes. These collections of vases are created with a special technique where the final shape is perfectly defined by the own mass and weight of a liquid material. Original models shapes are made by casting liquid porcelain into a hollowed block of foam, letting the weight of the liquid material insert itself into the pores of the foam. This way of casting creates organic shapes that arise depending on physics rather than on pre-designed decisions.

The dynamic edge on one side of the tabletop allows the coffee tables to sit neatly along a wall or next to another piece of furniture. The tabletop can be made from natural oak or beech. In a recent trip to Sri Lanka, the designer Lorena Canals was impressed by the beautiful green landscapes nature gives us throughout her journey. Cultivated tea plantations on the hills and valleys of such an exotic environment inspired her to create the Fields collection. Drinking tea is a worldwide pleasure, transmitting well- being, harmony and peace of mind.
PHILEAS
Phileas's vertical quilting evokes the upholstery of the seats of the legendary Orient-Express train, inviting a true journey in time. Sofas and armchairs offer an enveloping welcome thanks to their artisanal quilting, a reclining seat, an effective kidney pad, a very high back with earflaps that support the head and shoulders, as well as soft sloping armrests.
