Bird & Breakfast birdhouse
We wanted to create a piece that was easy to assemble, a breeze to clean and a great way to observe birds and their hatchlings; so taking a cue from its predecessor Neighbirds, we came up with a modular design consisting on four pieces: a nest unit, a feeder unit, a divider and a tape. Both the birdhouse and the feeder are concrete, which provides great insulation as well as a rustic touch. The dividing disks are made out of wood, a natural and familiar material for birds which, other from preventing rain from getting in, creates a shelter all around the nest, kind of like a porch.
