Remarquable artwork of marquetry combining rosewood, ebony and bronze, Tiébélé is the result of a one-month collaboration in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, between the Burkinabe woodmaker Jean Ilboudo and the French designer Pierre Murot. Its design is inspired by the architectural motifs of the Royal Court of Tiébélé, in southern Burkina Faso, and rethinks traditional codes in a very contemporary way.
