AddAddDIRK VANDER KOOIJ _ Table, chair, table, luminaire
For his graduation project, DIRK VANDER KOOIJ uses an old industrial robot that he transforms into a 3D printer and the program to print a line of recycled plastic furniture. Washed and ground into pellets, the material is then melted and extruded, in the form of a continuous filament, by a robotic arm. On the principle of 3D printing, arm movements are programmed from 3D modeling of a chair or table. Catalogue: https://fr.calameo.com/read/005475251e51dfd81efef

AddAddceiling lamps by Muller Van Severen
The lamps appear to be almost naive drawings materialized in the air, adding a playful line of color to the space. The design is utterly simple, consisting of nothing more than a bended and lackered steel tube and an archetypical lampshade on top. “Initially we dug up the lampshade at a flee market." Hannes Van Severen says. “It has a fantastic form: perfectly neutral." It is this sense of clarity that Muller Van Severen is renowned for. Just as their other furniture, the Ceiling Lamp creates space rather than filling it up. Available in three heights in black or brass.
With a playful design and an inflated appearance, Soufflé mirror borrows the French expression for ‘blown’ to name itself, emphasising its more evident and distinctive feature. A frame by the puffy and light appearance of a balloon hides inside a wooden structure and contains the arch-shaped surface of the full-length mirror. The tubular fixture, while guaranteeing a variable support point, both on the wall and on the ground, it allows the mirror to assume the ideal position, to adapt accordingly to the environment.
