Ginette and Brigitte Gadoury, mother and daughter, have been partners for promoting design and architectural excellence in Québec and internationally. As co-presidents of the PID Agency, a media enterprise renowned for its expertise and for the reputation of its platforms, like magazine INTÉRIEURS, the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN competition, and the INT.design website, they have selected their favorite products spotted on MOM.

Ninix Sunlounger
From technical perspective the Ninix range has been a true pioneer. The detailed inlay of the armrests, the way the Batyline sling is bolted to the frame, the hidden rollers on all lounge chairs, the smart principles of both Ninix extension tables, and last but not least the applauded gasspring-operated positioning mechanism giving the Ninix 195 sunlounger its unequalled ergonomics. All these features, that have now become quite common, first saw daylight in the Ninix range.
The GADOURYS... 50 years of design DNA
Ginette and Brigitte Gadoury, mother and daughter, have been partners for ages now in promoting design and architectural excellence in Québec and internationally. Today, they're Co-Presidents of the PID Agency, a media enterprise renowned for its expertise and for the reputation of its platforms, including the magazine INTÉRIEURS, the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN competition, and the INT.design website. As a young woman, in 1972, Ginette Gadoury founded Décormag, the first-ever Quebecois magazine devoted to interior design. Later, Brigitte joined forces with the agency, and together they created...in 1989, the Salon International du Design, in 1996, INTÉRIEURS magazine, and in 2007, the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN, during this effervescent period when Montréal was named as a UNESCO World City of Design. In 2020, it was the opening to an international audience of the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN that made headlines. After 13 years of only allowing candidates from Québec, this competition now welcomes participants from all over the world. In fact, the international community welcomed this competition with gusto, and in addition to submissions from Québec, more than 30 countries answered the call at this first international edition, including France and Japan. In 2021, the new digital platform INT.design was added to the media outlets managed by the PID Agency - a logical extension of these other prestige outlets. A digital space for content, INT.design is a tool for research, inspiration, and information on professionals, products, projects, businesses, and cultural and design venues. Ginette and Brigitte's mission has remained the same throughout all these years: the promotion of excellence in design, architecture, and in building environments.
