WOHA
Wong Mun Summ and Richard Hassell founded Singapore-based WOHA in 1994. WOHA have gained global recognition for their integration of environmental and social principles at every stage of the design process. WOHA’s focus is integrated design for the built environment, encompassing master planning, architectural, landscape, interior, lighting and furniture design. Their best-known projects have been widely publicized as benchmarks for sustainable design. WOHA conceptualizes all aspects of the architectural process, and environmental principles have always been fundamental to the work of the practice, which is guided by a commitment to responsive place-making and to the creation of an invigorating and sustainable architecture. Working as urban designers, architects, interior and product designers, WOHA seek to create delight at all scales through humane and sustainable environments. Selected by Maison&Objet as the “2017 Designer of the Year Asia”, WOHA will be launching new designs - as well as classics from our back catalogue – under the umbrella of WOHA Being at the September 2017 show of Maison&Objet Paris.
