Cushions Tile by John Pawson for Teixidors
John Pawson’s exclusive design 'Tile' for Teixidors consists of three throws and complementary cushions, with a design inspired by architectural patterns: playing with the repeating form of a rectangular tile to generate a mosaic, expressed in three intensities of colour. The complete collection is hand-woven in a balanced composition of ecological Merino wool from Provence, France and hand combed ecological baby yak wool from Mongolia. Available in sizes: 50 x 50 cm and 50 x 30 cm
Nightbloom by Marcel Wanders - Handmade Porcelain Lighting Sculpture
Paris will also be showcasing important lighting innovations in Lladró porcelain. The result of the collaboration with the renowned Marcel Wanders is a new version of Nightbloom in white and gold which expands the collection inspired by the subtle beauty of flower petals fluttering in the breeze. A masterpiece that combines the inventiveness of the Dutch designer Marcel Wanders with the handcrafted excellence of Lladró.
Lava Vase with handle
Stoneware vessel dressed with lava-type glaze. A totally handmade and personal work that begins with the design of the form, primitive execution techniques and the creation of self-formulated enamels based on minerals, oxides and ashes. The pieces are made of stoneware and baked at 1260 degrees. This piece will be available at the end of September, as it will be exhibited at the Milan exhibition in September 2021
Falco Peregrinus
Its size and elongated wings make the Peregrine Falcon one of the most spectacular birds in the collection. It is a figurine designed to hang it on the ceiling. It is a figure with a high level of difficulty, a beautiful challenge for experienced hands! The parts are pre-cut and marked for easy folding and easy construction. The kit contains 9 sheets of stained art paper, an information folder with the main characteristics and installation instructions. All inside in a sturdy and attractive backrest.
ABSIS floor lamp in natural terracotta
The Absis collection pays tribute to the traditional Catalan vault and to one of the materials used for its construction: the clay from the Vacamorta area in the Empordà region of Girona (Spain). For these handmade pieces, each one of them has its own identity. The terracotta of the lampshade combined with the iron structures gives to the collection a natural warmth, ideal for different types of spaces. The outdoor version has a rechargeable battery by induction system.
