Workshop 2.0+ ColorLab Concept New space in Kyiv which combines two brands wallpaper + paints ("The О" in collaboration with "Adler") and a new brand of furniture + decor "LitvinenkoDesign". The idea for this space has matured for a long time, but we could not find a capsule room in which we could combine the two brands. The first time we got into the room, it looked like a regular office with ordinary floor and fluorescent lamps on the ceiling. But the picture and planning immediately appeared before my eyes + the view from the window was very charming! The building has a lot of creative young people from different fields: artists, photographers, designers and founders of fashion brands. All this energy probably affects and unites. Why now? As long as there are free time! Small workshops and large manufacturers have free machines too. They are willing to take on new complex ones, though small products + willingly make the first prototypes. This opened up many opportunities for us! For example, we found good turners who helped us develop whole systems on which most of the line is based, blacksmiths who undertook experiments and non-standard elements as table legs. The carpenter's shops also agreed to do fantastic curved veneered works… Also, almost before the opening, we were lucky to find a talented ceramist, a true master who agreed to make for us candlesticks with old prints of industrial parts. That was my dream! Even when I first came to Kyiv 15 years ago. Own studio with Shop, where you could show all the products and prototypes that you work on + meet with colleagues designers and architects . There were already collections, they only had to be presented well and combined in physical space with the right light and accessories. So the collection of colors "Kyiv", which were taken from the architecture of Kiev, were perfectly combined with a series of wallpapers with augmented reality. The latest collection of RGB wallpapers, presented in Paris at BHV Marais, with a response to the color of light, children's wallpaper - bestsellers that are always loved and used by designers and architects in their projects … As always, there were many questions related to fixing work and contractors! Another ton of questions with a new line of furniture and decor, but I can say for sure that it is a very interesting experience and a journey that continues! All the most interesting things are just ahead! Those who start in a storm now have nothing to be afraid of later!
