The Ford Mustang first appeared in 1965 as a sporty and affordable car. Following the success of the first generation, Ford launched the second generation in 1967 to counter growing competition from brands such as Dodge, Pontiac and Mercury. The 1968 Mustang featured notable styling changes, including a reworked grille and wider dimensions, reinforcing its bolder, more muscular character. We have recreated a scale model of this 1968 Ford Mustang, finished in Lime Green Metallic with a black roof, true to a body colour available in the original catalogue.
