A shield-shaped pendant from the “Luminous” collection in ancient bog oak from deposits radiocarbon-dated to around 7,500 years, set in clear jewellery resin, with decorative gold-tone leaf flakes. The black of the wood comes from no dye — the oak took it on over millennia in water, earth and minerals. The gold-tone flakes form no repeated pattern — they fall as the material allows. Fine particles set in the resin create a star-dust effect in the light — the impression of a million stars in the night sky. The shield combines geometry with a softly curved base — decisive and elegant at once. About 37 × 26 mm — clearly visible, yet comfortable to wear.
