A cube of black and light. A cube-shaped tealight holder, 8.5 cm on each side, in ancient bog oak — from deposits radiocarbon-dated to around 7,500 years — and clear resin. The clear resin lets the light of the flame travel through the form and reveals the natural, undyed black of the wood. A high gloss intensifies reflections and the depth of the materials. On its own it is a small object with character; in a group, a striking composition of light. The grain differs in every piece. ✦ Craftsmanship Handmade in the Zona di Lusso studio in Poland · Ancient bog oak in its natural, undyed black · Every piece has its own grain — small differences are a feature of the material, not a flaw ✦ Safety Never leave a burning candle unattended · Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials · Place on a stable, non-flammable surface ✦ Care Clean with a soft, dry cloth · Replace with standard Ø 37 × 17 mm tealights in metal cups Atelier In the Zona di Lusso atelier, we create unique interior furnishings and objects — dining tables, coffee tables, consoles, mirrors, decorative objects and forms designed for exceptional spaces.
