The cocoda cabinet is a storage piece defined by its distinctive structure. Designed around a chair-like frame and legs, it has a three-dimensional, sculptural presence. Each solid-wood top is individually shaped by hand using a kanna plane, while the joints between the frame and legs are carefully carved with traditional Japanese tools to create smooth, flowing curves. The doors form a circular pattern by combining solid wood pieces at precise angles. A symbolic hand-carved handle is set into the center, bringing function and craftsmanship together in a distinctive design.
