Antílope is a sculptural floor lamp inspired by the organic force of a horn, at the border of the animal and plant world. Carved by hand from black-stained acacia wood, its slender body evokes the shapes and memories of a trip to West Africa. Its very fine walnut veneer shade lets light pass through the wood and reveals its natural veins. A lower diffuser softens the lighting downwards and limits glare, while the upper opening releases ample and enveloping light. The iron base with oxidation treatment anchors the piece and highlights the verticality of its silhouette. Adjustable in intensity by remote control, Antílope combines material, craftsmanship and light in a serene and expressive presence.
