Cobra is a sculptural floor lamp made from a bamboo branch worked and bent by hand. Its slender silhouette evokes the movement of a cobra that rises or that of a rising flame. Its creation originated in a know-how discovered by Omar from a craftsman in Thailand: the bending of bamboo by fire and water. This work preserves the organic character of the branch, while an integrated line of light highlights its curve and accompanies its movement. A rice paper diffuser softens the light to create a warm, diffuse and enveloping atmosphere. The iron base contrasts with the visual lightness of bamboo and ensures the stability of the whole. Controlled by remote control, Cobra brings a serene presence near a sofa, armchair or in a corner of the room. Each creation preserves the particularities of the branch of origin and the artisanal gesture of its transformation.
